Ezra is one of the founders of PocketLegal. He graduated with a Bachelors of Law in 2004 from the University of New South Wales and began work as a family and commercial lawyer. His career took a turn towards the advertising industry. Several years spent in the web development and communications industries means Ezra is technologically-driven and talented in project management. Ezra has brought this passion for technology to PocketLegal through the use and development of new technology. This allows him and the team to achieve PocketLegal’s ultimate goal: improving and streamlining the immigration experience for both clients and agents.
Benji graduated from UNSW with a Masters in Law in 2011, having previously completed his Bachelor degree at Macquarie. Benji is a specialist in employer-sponsored visas (TSS / 457,186,187), family class visas and business investment visas. He is familiar with Federal Court and the Migration Review Tribunal appeals. He co-founded PocketLegal inspired to bring a fresh approach to this area of law.
In addition to immigration law, Benji has experience in intellectual property claims, class actions, civil litigation, commercial law and property law.
Ellen is a lawyer and senior migration agent, with over 15 years experience as a lawyer. Ellen is comfortable adjusting to sudden changes in regulations and guidelines, and adapting her advice to a client’s circumstance as only an experienced migration lawyer can. Ellen is an admitted solicitor in both Australia and the Philippines.
Luke has a passion for migration law and policy, with experience across a broad range of visa categories including employment visas, student visas and PR pathways. Luke gained his Law degree from the University of Western Australia, complimenting his Business degree from Curtin University. He has worked in every Australian jurisdiction, as well as in the US.
Mike is a Registered Migration Agent with solid experience matching clients with appropriate visa options, accurately interpreting immigration law and regulations, as well as document and records management.
Nicolas has over 10 years of experience in the migration industry. He has worked as both a Registered Migration Agent, as well serving as an officer with the Department of Home Affairs. His thorough understanding of Australian Migration legislation enables him to solve complex migration law issues, providing practical solutions to both individual and business clients.
